A Focus on Celtman!

A selection of 10 images that did not make the cut for the Celtman Image Library where there are over 800 images from the day.  Images have been processed in black and white as I wanted to remove any distraction from the faces and expressions of the competitiors.  WHere I was positioned for most of the images the ground is quite loose, a couple are taken as the athletes cross a burn on stepping stones and in most of the images the athletes were running at a good pace.  When you are as tired as they were after over 12 hours of competition you can not over estimate the concentration required to keep your footing on wet, loose stone.

The final image is a reminder that for all the hard work and dedicated hours of training and despite the pain the competitors put themselves through there is a great sense of achievement in winning a finishers t-short at Celtman and once you have made the time based cut off at transition 2a and you are in the behind Liatach there is always time to smile and enjoy your achievemnt.
