The two Ocean Blue images were taken on the same day as I created the images for the Waves and Winter Sunshine series (see images at bottom of blog). However for these two images I reset the camera's white balance to a very cool 3300K to see what effect it would create. The basic scene was a blue sky and fundamentally blue water with some cloud for contrast, the setting sun and the water foam from the water. With the temperature setting so low the images created had a dramatic effect but still captured the shape, movement and light play on the water. Canon DXMkII, EF11-24mm lens at f7.1 and 11mm. WB 3300K, ISO 1250 Shutter speed 1/8000
