Everyone who entered the waters of Loch Torridon at 05:00 on Saturday morning are winners.
The race is a culmination of months of training involving sacrifice, dedication, sweat and probably tears. Celtman is tough whatever the weather conditions. This year simply magnified the challenge. However it is also a race and as a consequence it has to have someone who comes first.
This year it was Graeme Stewart who completed the course in 12 hours 16 minutes and 15 seconds – an outstanding achievement.
He has written his own account of the the event which can be viewed here.
