All the images in this blog were taken with an iPhone in the villages of Imerovigli and Firostefani along with the town of Fira on the island of Thera; the largest island that makes up Santorini.
Many of the homes, hotels and restaurants on the island are built on the edge of the caldera looking West. It has led to a myriad of passage ways that zig zag throughout the settlements. Walking along these I was taken by the variety of doors, windows and openings in general that were on display. So during an afternoon walk, only using an iPhone, I decided to capture a selection to produce a photo record of the walk through the doors and windows passed. Sometimes the narrowness of the passage constrained the composition but on the whole I was able to capture the range of images I was looking for.
