The Isle of Skye is a treasure trove for both the wildlife and landscape photographer. The quality of the light from Autumn, through Winter to Spring has an almost magical quality about. In the South of the Island the dramatic landscape of the Black Cuillin dominates along with Blaven whilst further North is the 20 mile Trotternish Ridge which includes two of Skye’s most famous landmarks, the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing. It is an area that I have only just started to explore and will, without doubt, be adding to my images in the near future.

Quality
The photographs on this site are all relatively low resolution JPEGs. All my photographs are printed from the high resolution source file held in TIFF format, using an Epson printer at 2880dpi. I use Epson Premium Lustre paper and Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks to ensure that your picture(s) will have a long life of up to 75 years.
