Autumnal Ochre before Sleat Sunset

 

The sun dipping behind the Rhum Cullin gave the most wonderful ochre colour cast to the sky over Eigg

......before giving way to the more usual palette of reds through to purple.
……before giving way to the more usual palette of reds through to purple that is a regular occurrence on Sleat, Isle of Skye.

Having posted the sunrise this morning, the free evening show did it’s best to match.

    The light pollution from Gatwick Airport doesn’t have the same effect!

      You and your camera are always welcome. Mind you, like the otters, a view of Eigg, let alone the sun can not always be guaranteed! G
