Buzzards are now a common sight alongside many of our motorways and have successfully colonised many parts of Great Britain. Very often found on fence posts or other suitable vantage points they remain very aware of their surroundings and are difficult to get close too. During the nesting season they are often seen in mid air fights with rooks and crows. Sleat like many areas of the Isle of Skye have their own resident buzzards and they are also very numerous just across the Sound along the golden sands of the beaches at Arisaig.

Quality
The photographs on this site are all relatively low resolution JPEGs. All my photographs are printed from the high resolution source file held in TIFF format, using an Epson printer at 2880dpi. I use Epson Premium Lustre paper and Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks to ensure that your picture(s) will have a long life of up to 75 years.
