For the 2013 Competition, Alligin Photography was commissioned by HMNB Portsmouth to record their competition as they sought to retain their 2012 title, along with HMS Excellent. During the event a Barbarians team was also raised due to there being a spare gun and a number of competitors who had trained but not made their unit crews. Alligin Photography were retained to provide a portfolio of their exploits.
