100th Army Navy Match – Another Day in the Office!!

Certainly the longest single day event covered by Alligin Photography.  From a cup of coffee with Hilary and Kate in July 2016 we helped produce the 100th Army Navy Match commemorative book and added further historical material for the match programme supported both by ours and images from the RFU Museum and the Press Association.

A full day covering the match from the pre match entertainment – Invictus Game Choir – Mac Mclaren
A full stadium with new record crowd was the prefect backdrop to the 100th match – Evie Knighton
Alligin Photography captured the hope; Seta Raumakita breaks for the line – Neil Kennedy
The tires – man of the match Junior Bulumakau flies over for his first with Matt Bowden unable to stop him – Andy Bonner
The atmosphere, the Sappers are captured by Nick Flexman
And the celebrations, the Army receive the trophy – Lee Crabb
Babcock International have renewed their sponsorship as once more the Army Navy Match lived up to their strap line – it is a game that can always be trusted to deliver – Andrew Fosker
And finally after processing thousands of digital images and making them available on line through the Army Navy Match image library the final formal printed images have been posted.  11 months in all.  Quite a journey as part of the 100th Army Navy Match but with the commemorative cap added to our collection of Service memorabilia, the book on the shelf and the historic data added to the database all that is left is to look forward to next year – and the 101st Army Navy Match
