No Work in the Midday Sun!

aird-buzzard

One of the pair of buzzards that regularly hunt around the house decided that it was time to take in the surroundings which had that lovely warmth provided by a low sun .  Despite it being mid day it is not getting to high above the horizon at the moment but it makes for some wonderful light, certainly better than the harsh light of mid summer!  After a leisurely break on the post the buzzard was soon back to the air and found some success before deciding to move to other hunting grounds.

Myers Continues Happy Memories Against the RAF

Test

A productive evening with Lee Crabb of Scrumpix as we finalised a new workflow that will allow a seamless process between my base in Skye and his work on the South Coast (and save me some air miles).  The evening’s main event was stood on a chilly touchline at US Portsmouth RFC to watch the Royal Navy U23’s retain their Inter Services title against the RAF.  Despite the poor In Goal lighting, Lee managed to capture Eldon Myers scoring the only try in the Navy’s 10-0 win.  Eldon, who holds a couple of Senior XV caps, made his Senior debut against the RAF so clearly has happy memories playing against the Light Blues.  As much as it was an enjoyable trip in was good to return to the warmth of Skye after a couple of wintery days in the frozen South!!
