Celtman – Hall of Fame

This page is dedicated to those who have won Celtman or have recorded a fastest time on an individual component of the Celtman Extreme Triathlon.  I have tried to be as accurate as possible but if you believe there is an error then please get in touch and I will correct the page.  I also wish to acknowledge that conditions play a huge part in such an event and accept that the course has subtly changed each year, however the details below provide an indication of who achieved what and when within the Celtman competition.

Fastest Swim (Women) - Kathrin Muller
Fastest Swim (Women) – Kathrin Muller – 49:56 [ 2013 Celtman]  Her title came under pressure from 2015 Celtman Women’s winner Siobhan Prise who recorded the second fastest women’s swim time of 50:03

Bobby Oag is the only Celtman to have broken 40 minutes for the swim.  16 further Celtmen have broken 50 minutes, 14 in 2012 and only 2 in 2013.  This gives some idea in the different conditions.  2013 women’s winner, Katherin Muller, is the only women to have broken 50 minutes.

Special Celtman

Anyone who completes Celtman has my admiration but when I look the through the results there are a couple who stand out.

Sean Mc
Sean McFarlane – 2nd in the inaugural Celtman of 2012 followed by 8th (2013), 14th (2014) and 5th (2015) – that is some achievement and one of only three (I think) to have completed all four Celtman races.

Stuart Macleod - 3rd 2013, 4th 2012
Stuart Macleod finished in the top ten of the three Celtman he competed in- 3rd 2014, 3rd 2013, 4th 2012
